Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 11, 2026
At Clusterra ("we", "us", or "our"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal
information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when
you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide our High-Performance Computing (HPC) management services, including:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and institutional affiliation (university or
company) when you register.
- Usage Data: Information about your interactions with our platform, such as compute job
submissions, cluster configurations, and resource usage logs.
- Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type, and device information to ensure security and
proper rendering of our console.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- Process your transactions and manage your account.
- Send transactional emails regarding your clusters, including job completion alerts, billing
notifications, and critical infrastructure updates (e.g., Slurm node failures, Spot Instance interruptions).
- Respond to your support requests.
3. Email Communications
We use third-party email service providers (such as Amazon SES) to send emails. We send two types of emails:
- Transactional: Mandatory notifications about your account and compute resources (e.g., "Job
#1234 Failed", "Cluster Provisioned").
- Updates: Optional product updates or newsletters, which you can opt-out of at any time via
the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your compute data and credentials remain
primarily within your own AWS account when using our core deployment model.
